Hi there! I'm Sungha (pronounced 'saw-ng ha'), and I'm a Senior Sound Designer with more than 5 years of experience (8 years total in the games industry). I am currently working at ProbablyMonstersSome of my proudest work can be heard in Guild Wars 2 (MMORPG) and Ire: A Prologue (narrative horror game).

 

I am also a professional cellist and have played on soundtracks for critically acclaimed games, Celeste: Farewell (platform game) and Chicory: A Colorful Tale (top-down adventure game). I am a Berklee College of Music alumnus, and I'm grateful to have won the 2017 Tree of Savior OST Cover Contest, co-hosted by Nexon Korea and IMC Games. 

My background as a musician helps me shape sound in a way that feels intentional, musical, and seamlessly woven into the overall player experience. I’m always thinking about how the SFX and music in-game mix together: matching tonal qualities and carving out frequency space so everything complements rather than competes.

I thrive to bring a positive, reliable energy to every project. Whether I’m designing audio assets, giving or receiving feedback, or solving technical audio problems, I deeply care about delivering consistent quality and being someone the team can count on.
